Message from the Editor: April 23, 2004. The Men's Tribune is pleased to announce
that E. Belfort Bax's classic work in men's rights, The Legal Subjection of Men, is now on
line. Had I discovered this work earlier I would have said that I was greatly indebted to Mr.
Bax as many of the remarks I have made both on and off the internet are very similar to his
own. While I can find obvious grounds for flattery in this I must also say I am a little disturbed,
because while I come from a very conservative background, Mr. Bax was a socialist.
